Soccer

This was the first year for Hannah to do soccer. Makenna did it too, and I think this was her 3rd year. They had fun doing it, at first at least. I think Hannah liked it better because this was her first time, Makenna toward the end of it, was ready to be done.

The last game, I wasn't sure if we would make it to Makenna's game, because she was at the cabin with her Grandma, and I asked her if she was okay to miss it, and she said, "Ya, I just want the trophy, I don't really care about the game." Well we did make it to the game, and she got her trophy.

So to spend I think 8 Saturdays, running from one game to the next and not having much time for anything else, I sure am glad that they only wanted the trophy!

So .... I think we are done with soccer. I don't think I am going to do it next year. I don't feel like they are learning a whole lot, and I really hate having my Saturdays consist of running to games. They had fun while it lasted, and unless they express the want to really play. We are sticking to dance for now!!

Here are some pictures of them playing and getting their trophy's!!

Copperton Park

This week has been so nice..... The sun is out and the weather is beautiful! On Thursday, Matt's mom took Makenna and Hannah to the cabin with her, so while they were gone, I took Alexa and went with my mom and sisters to Copperton Park.

I went to this park as a little girl, so it is fun to see my own little girl there playing on the same slides and tires that I did when I was her age!

We packed a lunch, relaxed in the sun and watched the kids play! It was so easy to only have to keep track of one! I even got a little sun on my chest and face!

Spring is here, hopefully, for good and I am loving it!!!!

Easter 2010

We had such a fun Easter!
It was a little busy and crazy at times, but lots of fun!
We had 3 different easter egg hunts.... 1 on Saturday and 2 on Sunday......

Saturday night, we colored Easter eggs. I love coloring them and so do the kids, they have so much fun putting in the eggs and then decorating them with stickers after they are colored!

Sunday morning, the Easter bunny came and brought the girls some yummy candy, and little items for fun!

We had such a great Easter. It was nice to be able to sit at home and watch conference and listen to some really great messages from the church leaders. There were some really great talks given and it was really special to hear them on Easter Sunday, and remember to true meaning of Easter and reflect on Christ and the ressurection!
