17 1/2 MONTHS AND WALKING!!!

Yes, Alexa is FINALLY walking. After 17 1/2 months of wanting to be held, and crawling she has finally decided to get up on her own two feet and walk!! Yeah!!!
I am so excited that she is doing it. She does get it from Matt though. Matt didn't walk till he was almost 18 months either. Oh and Stef, I knew that she would be walking before Bailee, I'm sure it's not by much, but she did beat her!!! So here's a little video of her walking for everyone to see!!

Definately a girl!!

Today, Alexa decided she wanted to have her nails painted... While I was getting ready, Alexa is sitting on the bathroom floor, and I hear a break. I look down and Alexa has 2 nail polish bottles. She hit them together, they broke and it went everywhere!! She had it on her hands, her mouth, her clothes, it even leaked through her clothes onto her legs and tummy!! I washed her up with nail polish remover, but it still didn't all come off. So I took these pictures after she was "cleaned up", but you can still see the evidence. I'm just glad she was in the bathroom and it didn't get all over my carpet!!

Jesus Wants Me For A Sunbeam!!

Sunday, my little Hannah became a sunbeam!! She seems so little to be a sunbeam. I remember when Makenna went in, and she was just so big, and Hannah is just so little. She is growing up so fast. She was really excited to go in and be a "big girl",listen in class and learn more about Jesus. It was funny though, because she is so used to getting snacks during church, afterward, she was grabbing any snack she could find in the car and eat it, because she got so hungry without treats in class!! We love you our little Sunbeam!!

SLEDDING ON NEW YEARS DAY!!

We have a tradition in our family that my mom got when she lived in Germany as a child. Every New Years Eve (or in this case, New Years Day) we get together with my family and we have sandwiches on black rye bread, or sour dough bread. Then we eat and hang out.
Yesterday when we did this, we decided to go sledding as well at a hill by my parent's house. The kids had so much fun. Makenna is a little snow bunny and could stay out in it forever. Hannah had fun going down the hill with cousins and uncles. Even Alexa went down a few times with me, but I got tired of having to carry her and the sled back up the hill, so she ended up sitting in the car with my mom and niece Bailee. Here are some of our fun pics....
