Snowbird

We went to snowbird this past week with my family. It was lots of fun with lots of pictures, hence the slideshow. We got there on Saturday night. On Sunday, they had the Oktoberfest going on, so we all went up to that and sat and listened to the polka music while the kids danced around to it. Monday, Our little family along with my sister Stef, her husband Tyler, and my dad, all went on a hike to Cecret Lake. It was only a mile there and a mile back, but there were some pretty up hill parts, but when we got there it was worth it, it is such a beautiful lake. The kids all dipped their toes in the water and we also saw a moose drinking from the lake. We swam everyday, and the kids were loving that. On Wednesday, we went to the Alpine slide and each got to go down we would each take one of the kids as a lap rider.Then the dads all went on the zipline. On Thursday, my dad took my sisters and mom and me out to dinner, while all the guys stayed home with the kids. Thanks dad for dinner. Thanks Matt for watching the kids, so we could go to dinner. We played on the playground there also. It was lots of fun for the kids to be around their cousins all week, and play. We had tons of fun. But I think we were all ready to be home and sleep in our own beds.

Teaching Makenna to ride a bike!

Yesterday, we decided to let Makenna try riding her bike with no training wheels. She did really good. Matt ran along side her, just in case she fell, which she did do a couple times. She is really excited that she can do it and just excited to keep practicing!!

Alexa's 12 month Dr. visit

Alexa had her 12 month visit yesterday.
Her dimension are:
Height: 28.5"
Weight: 18.8#
Head: 17.2"
She is in the 10th percentile for her weight, 10th for her head and 30th for her length.
It is so funny to see the difference in the other two. At one year Makenna weighed 21 pounds and 30 in. long. Hannah at one year weighed 17.11 pds. and was 27.5 in. long.

Makenna's 1st day of Kindergarten!!

So Makenna had her first day of school today. I took her this morning, and I couldn't believe that she really is in school now!! That 5 years went by way too fast. She was excited to go in her new school clothes, and even more excited to be able to ride home on the bus. She has been waiting to take the bus now for 3 years, and she finally gets to!!! She said that they sat on the rug and talked about rules in class, played on the playground, talked about letters and what to expect this year at school!! Here is a slideshow of her first day!!

Flaming Gorge!!

We went to Flaming Gorge, last Wed.-Sat. It was tons of fun. The kids all loved the boat, well except for Alexa, she was not loving the life jacket, but by the 3rd day, she realized that I was not going to take it off, and learned to live with it. We all had fun water skiing, tubing, and knee boarding. We had a bunch of pictures, so I made a slide show, EnJoY!!!

Happy 1st Birthday Alexa!!!

Happy Birthday to my little baby girl!! Alexa turned one on July 30th. Alexa is the happiest and sweetest baby. I love her so much, we are so happy to have her in our lives. She really is such a good baby!! Here are two pictures of her at the hospital. I love the top picture she just looks so tiny and sweet!!

We had her birthday party with Family on last sunday, the 27th. Alexa loved opening her presents and especially eating her cake!!
