While we were off track in February, Makenna started working on her science fair project.
She named her project... "Cookie Dough Dilemma"
She started by making a batch of cookie dough and putting it in the fridge for 2 days. When those two days were up, she made cookies from that dough.
She then made a fresh batch of dough and cooked them right away. We then had volunteers come over and try both cookies and fill out a questionnaire about what cookie they liked better and any taste difference between the two!
Then just last week, she got all the information from her project together and made a board.
They had the science fair. Out of her class of 23 kids, 5 were picked to be judged by the district, where then 2 from the class go on to the district science fair.
Well she was one of the top 5! I was so proud of her to get picked out of all the other projects to "move on." She didn't go farther on, but that okay!
She did great and we had a lot of fun together getting her project ready and cooking together!
