4th of July Fun!!

We have had a great 4th of July weekend!! Thursday night we went to a parade, we only lasted about an hour then we got too hot and decided that we had seen enough, so we walked over and got a snocone to cool us off. After that we headed home to do some fireworks with our friends, The Blackwells.

Friday, we went over to a local carnival going on and let the kids ride on some of the rides. Then we went over to Matt's parents house for dinner and went swimming. (Well I didn't swim, because I have an inner and outer ear infection, fun for me, Yeah!!) When it got dark, we went over to a nearby open grass area and watched the cities fire works!! It was a great firework show. They did a ton of them and had a huge finale, which as Makenna kept putting it, "totally awesome." Hannah fell asleep on the blanket, she had a pretty long day.
