Festival of Trees

So a couple of Saturdays ago, we went as a family to the Festival of Trees. I love seeing all the beautiful trees, and the fun gingerbread houses.
Makenna and Hannah went into the Kids Corner and got to do a few fun little things...

They got into this "Bubble Machine" where they stand in a stool, and a big bubble gets put around them and they can try and blow a bubble out from it...

They also got to call an elf from the North Pole and talk to them. Makenna memorized the number, 3-5-3, so that she could call them again. She hasn't tried yet, but we'll see if she ever does. They got to talk to the elf and tell them what they wanted for Christmas and just chat with her. They had a lot of fun with that...

While I took Makenna and Hannah over there, Matt stood in line for Santa, he probably waited a good half an hour, 45 min. It was worth it. The kids got to see the "real" Santa and they got a candy cane and a nice hug and Merry Christmas from Santa...

I just have to say how much Alexa LOVES Santa. At our ward Christmas party the other night, she saw him when he came into the Cultural Hall and she just kept following him. Then when we went into see him in the room he was set up in, she kept getting out of my arms and walking over to him, and just stood there looking at him and saying, "SANTA!!!" It was so much fun.

My kids really love Santa, I have never had one that really Did NOT like him. Hannah was probably the closest to not liking him, she wasn't so sure about him when she was little, but the other two, absolutely loved the guy!!
